NCC Combined Annual Training Camp was held in 2 batches from 1st May to 10th May and 11th May to 20th May. Our school NCC cadets actively participated in the camp and won prizes in several events lie sol drill, solo dance, quiz and tug of war.
On 10th June the prize winners were honored in the school assembly by Subedar Major Raju K, Ex Serviceman 14 Karnataka Battalion, in the presence of our Principal Fr Jinosh VM and Fr Jose Kutty our Campus Director.
Celebration of World Environment Day and inauguration of the Eco Club was held on 5th June. The theme of this year Our Land Our Future was highlighted through various activities like notice board decoration, speech, dance and song all glorifying the need to safeguard mother earth. The Eco Club and Parivarthana -the waste management unit of the school was formally inaugurated. Saplings were donated and planted inside the campus. The cabinet members initiated a cleanliness drive with the intention of keeping the campus clean. Students were reminded of the need to do their bit in keeping our mother earth green and clean.
Christ Public School Kindergarten Graduation Day was celebrated with great pomp and enthusiasm on March 2th, 2024. The Kindergarten Graduation is a special milestone in a pre-schooler’s life. This ceremony is a great opportunity to celebrate their learning and recognize an important milestone in the student’s lives.
On 1st June 2024 Investiture, LCA inauguration, Toppers’ Felicitation Ceremony was held. Shri H S Thakur Desai, Former Senior General Manager Bharatiya Reserve Bank Note Mudran (P) Ltd was the Chief Guest. Fr Jinosh, our principal, Fr Noble Jose our Administrator, Fr Josekutty V J our Campus Director, Ms Merlyn Christabel our Vice Principal, Ms Mini A S our LCA Coordinator were the other dignitaries present.
It was a proud moment for the Christites as the newly selected cabinet was officially installed and badges were handed over to them, reminding them of their roles and responsibilities. Another joyful occasion was that the toppers of grade X 2023-24 batch were felicitated. Ms Kannikka the school topper spoke about her hardworking journey of academic excellence which would inspire many more to follow her path.
Various cultural activities like dance, speeches, musical ensemble, drama on the Vision of the school, songs and poem recitation marked the inauguration of the LCA activities.
Faculty development program was held on 10th February 2024. Mr Gopinath Balachander was the resource person. The training was on the topic Excellence in teaching. Ms Merlyn Christable our Vice Principal welcomes the gathering It was a highly interactive and informative session for the teachers as it dwelled upon the key points of strategic development of an individual as a teacher. The terms like excellence and quality were given a different perspective and it was well understood by the audience. Rev Dr Augustine Paimpallil, President St Thomas Education Society also addressed the gathering. Ms Jayashree Suresh our staff coordinator proposed the vote of thanks.
