It was a proud moment for Christ Public School as we hosted 35 esteemed guests from Germany on 22/1/2025. Various cultural programs were presented by our students showcasing the rich cultural heritage of India. Right from the folk dances of Karnataka, to the rhythmic classical dance, to the unique dance form of Orissa, everything found its place on the stage of Christ Public School. Our vey talented singers also entertained the audience with their melodious rendition of classical and semi classical songs. The finale tuned to the famous patriotic song Jai Ho kept the audience captivated. Our esteemed guests definitely left the campus with their hearts and mind filled with the grandeur of Indian culture.
Christmas was celebrated in all its grandeur on 21st December. Principal Fr Renish P Varghese, Campus Director Fr Josekutty V J, Administrator Fr Noble Jose were the dignitaries present. The students brought alive the festive spirit of Christmas on stage through various programs like carols, speech on importance of Christmas and colorful dances. The depiction of the nativity scene was the highlight of the day.
The day ended with a reminder of the message of love and peace, which forms the essence of Christmas celebration.
Carmel Association had organised carol singing competition on December 8th in which our school students participated in various categories.
Kindergarten students of our school won the first prize in their category..
Cartoon Day for the kindergarten section was celebrated on 12th December. Many cartoon character came to life on that day. Students dressed up as their favorite cartoons performed skits, sang songs and entertained the audience. It was a memorable day for the tiny ones as it gave wings to their creative expressions.
In lieu of the changing technologies and with the idea of helping the students adapt to the changes, a workshop was held on AI and robotics from 25th November to 28th November 2024.
The workshop was for grades 1 to 8. The topics covered were Lego, junior blocks, making art work using 3D pen, home security system and making traffic light using AI. The valedictory function was very interesting as students got a chance to launch the rockets developed by them during the workshop. A robotic dog stole the show with its impressive movements.
